Burpee

Modifications for Pregnancy and Postpartum

If you notice any coning or doming in the plank position of the burpee sub the movement. You should also feel no pressure on your pelvic floor while jumping in the burpee or slamming on the floor. Good subs for the burpee are:

  1. Stepping burpee

  2. No push up burpee

  3. Elevated burpee

  4. Elevated Push Up + Step up

  5. Sumo Deadlift High Pull

  6. Ball Slams
